Its side quests can take you to new areas, and a mode, which activates after the credits and can keep you and two friends hooked for weeks. It’s not the best game of the year by any stretch, but it’s the kind of game you can enjoy losing hours of your time to.

Faster than a speeding bullet, the outbreak swept over the old world, bringing with it a catastrophe that hit people like a ton of bricks. Many people never saw their loved ones or acquaintances again; others lost all sense of humanity altogether, losing touch with reality and reverting to savagery. After more than a decade, however, the community has adjusted to its new reality and divided into rival factions. Primitive drives are once again governed by the need to stay alive.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human plays like any other open-world game. Its desire to develop causes it to scatter its attention among a vast range of activities. However, this game is a pleasant and fulfilling experience thanks to the emphasis on parkour and the player’s connection with the environment. Aiden’s backstory is shrouded in secrecy, along with the rest of the story’s characters and the reader is compelled to learn more about their intentions and backgrounds.
7. Pokemon Legends: Arceus

We’re not kidding when we say that Tactics Ogre: Reborn meets one of the greatest strategic RPG in 2022. It features numerous updates to the PSP version, most of which are centered on the gameplay but also on the sound quality, rendering it suitable for players of all experience levels.
However, fans of the genre and of Tactics Ogre in particular will appreciate the game’s enhanced presentation the most. There’s no better way to break into the SRPG genre than with this timeless classic.
4. Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon: Forbidden West is a solid sequel that develops the story from the original game, but it also accomplishes some truly unique things, such as removing the use of generic animations from the game’s deep, classic RPG dialogues and open areas.
There is no repetition of gestures or animations, even in the most unimportant secondary mission, despite the thousands of lines of speech and the fact that each exchange is captured individually using motion capture technology. Many of the side missions may be played at your own pace, with unique storylines, characters, and circumstances created especially for you. It’s a breath of fresh air, a reimagining of the series that delivers on the promise of “more and better” while retaining the series’ trademark accessibility and technical excellence. Do not hesitate; if you enjoy Japanese role-playing games, this is a must-have, and if you are new to the genre, this is a great time to get into it.

It’s clear that Santa Monica Studio intended God of War (2018) to be only a teaser for what was to come. God of War: Ragnarok is an aesthetically and narratively stunning game. It’s one of the most exciting games in recent memory.
The creators of the game were able to build upon the foundation of what made it great four years ago. A work of art in every sense of the word was delivered: amusing, passionate, and shocking. Needless to say, the race for GOTY 2022 was quite tight.

There is no denying that Elden Ring is a masterpiece. With the bar set so high by From Software, it’s difficult to see how the developer can top themselves with their next games. The mechanics, which are well established, appear to be the sole remaining area for improvement.
We’re talking about a stunning game here, one that succeeds artistically by creating a world with a visual depth that most other games can only dream of. The game’s engaging narrative pulls us in and compels us to make a variety of choices, expanding the area of play and the scope of the roles available. Elden Ring is a priceless addition to any Souls fan’s library. Unquestionably, one of the finest RPG of 2022.
